Dr. Andra Smith is the Founder and Principal Consultant of EvaluationNow, LLC. She has more than ten years of experience as an evaluator and applied researcher. She holds a PhD and an MPH in Behavioral Science and Health Promotion, with minors in Epidemiology and Healthcare Leadership. She also holds a BA in Health Sciences.

Dr. Smith applies research and evaluation to help clients achieve their programmatic and organizational goals. Guided by a utilization-focused approach, she brings deep expertise in advanced methodologies and has led projects funded by federal, state, and local agencies, including the CDC, HRSA, CMS, SAMHSA, and Texas DSHS.

She is an advocate for the broader adoption of evaluation in practice-based settings. Consequently, her work centers on building evaluation capacity, with the goal of enabling all organizations to effectively assess and enhance the impact of their programs.

When she’s not working, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs. She loves exploring nature with her family, and her favorite activity is taking long walks on the beach. Additionally, she enjoys baking and is still on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe!
